Meanwhile other organizations defended the law, among them are the Bulgarian Building and Construction Chamber, the Bulgarian Branch Chamber Roads, the Employers Association in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Industrial Association. The analysis was made on the grounds of the facts in the new Law on the Chamber of Builders, said the ombudsman Ginyo Ganev. The creation of such legal entities entitled by the state to execute some specific functions is not against the constitution.

Since last century 80-s there is a serious crisis in Bulgaria’s economic and public life which influenced the architectural education as well. After 1989 the academic structures did not change a lot. A new scheme should be found out, professors and famous specialists should be invited from abroad. Bulgarian architectural education has always stressed the engineering and structural subjects and much less - the philosophy, the design concept. Young architects usually are not at the level required from the practice and the vicious circle is thus closed.
